How To Make GIF Animation

  • To make a gif animation in photoshop, we need to take some photos.

  • Every GIF has some frames and time delay between frames.

  • Here are the steps to make a GIF animation.

  • Open photoshop application on PC.

  • Drag and drop your images from folder to Photoshop.

STEP 1

Drag and drop all pictures in Photoshop

STEP 2

  • Create a new file where GIF to be made.

STEP 3

  • Set a resolution as the actual picture.

STEP 4

  • Copy every picture with Marquee tool (Ctrl + A) and paste in the new file with a new layer.

Ctrl + A  for selecting all content of the picture.

Ctrl + C for copy the selected picture.

Click Marquee tool.

  • Select respective layer

  • press Ctrl + V paste

STEP 6

  • After pasting 15 pictures, click on Window menu > Timeline to get GIF window.

  • This is the Timeline window you will get.

  • Click on Create frame animation.

  • Here I have used 15 images as frames to make GIF animation.

STEP 8

  • Here add the pictures from layers.

  • Click on the icon as below image and click on Select All Frames.

STEP 9

  • Select all frames and set the time delay.

  • I have set frame delay for 0.2 seconds.

STEP 10

  • To save the gif click on File menu > Save as Web.

  • Give a path to save and your GIF animation is ready to use.

STEP 11

  • And here is our GIF animation infinite loop.

  • It has 15 images as frames.
