Changing the Aspect Ratio

Aspect Ratio is the ratio of the width to the height of an image or screen.
-
This screen resolution also depends s on the physical size of your PC display and its resolution.
-
Changing aspect ratio is to change the resolution.
-
Here is the aspect ratio of different resolution.
-
3:2 - 480 x 320; 720 x 480
-
4:3 - 240 x 180; 240 x 640; 384 x 288
-
16:9 - 640 x 360; 960 x 540; 1280 x 720; 1920 x 1080
-
16:10 - 1280 x 800
-
Go to your Desktop, right-click your mouse and go to Display Settings.
Right Click on Desktop

Here you can adjust the size of text, app, and the change the orientation.

To change the resolution, click on Advanced Display Settings.

1920x1080 is the recommended screen resolution for my PC.
-
It may be different for you.
-
To modify the resolution, click on the drop-down menu.
-
Select the one you want.
It is best to leave the settings at their default values.

Click on Apply.
-
Ignore the notification and confirm your Screen Resolution changes by clicking on Keep The Changes.

Now we changed the resolution to 800x600 which literally means 4:3 aspect ratio.

Changing Vertical to Horizontal

To rotate the screen from vertical to horizontal in PC, follow these steps.

There is a keyboard shortcut to rotate the screen, press Ctrl + Alt + Arrow.

Another method, Right click on desktop > select Display setting.

Select Landscape from the orientation menu.​​

Click Apply.
-
Click Keep Changes when prompted.​​

This is how a horizontal screen (Portrait) looks like.

Move the Taskbar to Side

We will see how to move the taskbar from the default position & how to restore the taskbar back to the default position.

Make sure the Lock the Taskbar option is not enabled.

To do so, right click on Taskbar > uncheck the Lock the Taskbar

To move the taskbar from its default position along the bottom edge of the screen to any of the other three edges of the screen, click on a blank portion of the taskbar.

Hold down and then drag that to place on the right edge of the screen.

Drag the taskbar to left edge of the screen.

Drag the taskbar to left edge of the screen.

Setup Screensaver for 3 Minute

To open screensaver setting, type "Screen Saver" in the search bar.

Click on Change Screen Saver.
-
Alternatively, right-click on your Windows 10 desktop > select Personalize > Lock screen > Screen Saver Setting.
Serch & open Change Screen Saver

Here you can adjust the setting according to your own preferences.

I set a wait time 3 min., it means a user is not interacting with PC, the screen saver will appear.

Make Changes Here
Check for log out

After 3 min of inactivity of the user, it is going to show the screen saver.

And it will log out.
-
The user needs to enter the password to get logged in.
